Hi there! I’m glad you’re here. I want to be found faithful in all of the ways God has gifted me to live out my story on this earth. As a:
- Christian,
- wife,
- mother,
- teacher,
- freelance writer,
- keeper of home and chickens,
- baker of bread,
- fiber adventurer,
- a hopeful creative,
- and one of those stewards of the mysteries of God.
I’ve been writing for a very long time — thirty years as a professional behind many different desks. I’ve won awards, been published, spoken in front of crowds. I am a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers , and currently serve on the Kentucky Christian Writers Conference Executive Board.
My desire is to live – and tell – a faithful, creative story. But I’m not called to do it alone.
Why are you here?
Maybe you are a little like me. Maybe you have been writing for years. Maybe you are just getting started. Maybe you are somewhere in between.
Maybe you’ve been writing for yourself, and you’ve discovered it’s time to write for God, and His glory.
Yeah. Me, too.
I’ve learned that no matter where I’ve found myself on this creative journey, I need encouragement. I need community. I need instruction in the art and craft of writing.
So, if you need those things, too, come along. Hopefully, the words you find here will make you laugh, cry, think, and change. Take what you need and leave the rest. And, if you find a few words here and there that might encourage someone you know, please share them.
